The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA), which represents UK companies involved in the aerosol supply chain, has entered into a reciprocal agreement with the Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association of South Africa (AMA).

Working tirelessly for its members and to promote a self-regulating industry, the Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (AMA) welcomed guests to its Gauteng regional breakfast, hosted at Emperors Palace on 18 March.
The AMA Approved Mark – an industry wide, recognised stamp of approval – was first launched in the 1980s as a proactive measure by the AMA. At the time, the association was way ahead of the South African government by implementing this voluntary code, which focused on the CFC-free movement and sought to ensure consumer safety where aerosol products are concerned.
Supporting brands and manufacturers to innovate in the personal care and home care categories, suppliers of technology, ingredients and packaging components continue to raise the bar in the aerosols industry.
