Introducing mood paint by Seppic

A visual a beautiful woman surrounded by bright pink roses Seppic’s five beauty care laboratories have designed 11 new emotive formulas, inspired by cosmetic trends and various art movements.

The company is exhibiting its mood paint formulas in London, at in-cosmetics Global, revisiting Surrealism (1920), Naïve Art (1850) and the Italian Renaissance (1420).

Seppic innovates by inspiring customers. This designer of specialty ingredients is represented in South Africa by CJP Chemicals. Visitors to the show are invited to visit the mood paint texture bar to rediscover Seppic’s palette of ingredients to create new masterpieces.

Beauty inspired by street art

Launched in the ’70s, street art – or contemporary urban art – is one of the most popular art movements around the world thanks to artists like Banksy (United Kingdom). A perfect body illusion spray revisits this optical illusion-like artistic trend with its foundation application, which makes legs look slenderer.

The polymer, Sepimax Zen enables the suspension of pigments and pearlescent agents. For perfect graffiti, the painter adds Adipoless and Adiposlim slimming active ingredients to kiss goodbye ‘orange peel’ and preserve the silhouette. Emollients Emogreen L15 and Emogreen L19 give even greater emotion to the work with optimum fun and a powdery finish.

Masked with a pop of colour

Pop Art, stemming from the ’50s, reflects the spirit of a period of serial production, the role of consumer society. Everyday objects are transformed by artists like Andy Warhol (USA), Romero Britto (Brazil) and Murakami (Japan) etc.

Colours are bright and off-beat compared to reality; the layers of paint juxtaposed. This movement inspired Seppic laboratories to dream up five multi-masking formulas. Presented in five tubes, the five masks share the one chassis yet use different colours, active ingredients and textures. They are applied in layers on the different areas of the face.

In the five Pop Art masks, emulsifiers Monatov 202 and Monatov 68 MB provide a creamy texture. For example, Black Pop Art purifies the T-zone area by limiting excess sebum with the Phlorogine BG PF, Fluidipure 8G and activated charcoal ingredients. Sediplus 400 and Sediplus S (polymers) provide glide and comfort upon application for a pampered feel. Their liquid forms facilitate dispersion of the mashed activated charcoal.
