Symrise is presenting an innovative product range at in-cosmetics Global, in London, UK. There is a strong focus on solutions that offer effective protection from environmental pollutants and also skin brightening properties. With SymBright, Symrise has developed an ingredient that perfectly serves this demand.
The recently launched Thermolat leaves a pleasant warm feeling on the skin without irritating it. Adding to these novelties is Symrise’s latest product launch for hair, KeraSym Restore, which is based on a particular wheat protein.
The company is also presenting a novel Arctic Range, which consists of plants that survive in extreme climatic conditions. These products and forward-thinking solutions for skin and hair protection can be discovered at Symrise’s stand KK20.
Environmental stressors, including pollution, UV rays, visible light, and infrared rays can trigger a common reaction sequence of the skin. This often results in pigmentation disorders and dark spots.
SymBright, a multitalented natural molecule, prevents these reactions, and protects skin luminosity against the exposome. Clinical tests prove significant skin brightening effects after stimulation of pigmentation with UV. In addition, the new UV filter Neo Heliopan BMT offers protection against intense UV radiation. This is achieved via broadband protection and improved UVA protection especially in sun care products with a high SPF.
Another in-cosmetics focus for Symrise is the new hair care range, KeraSym, which is one of the first product lines from the company’s new Hair Care Centre in Brazil. Symrise is highlighting KeraSym Restore, a unique non-hydrolysed wheat protein, which was created using specialised gliadin extraction. KeraSym Restore – a natural smart protein – repairs the damaged hair where it is most needed, reducing breakage and split ends while improving gloss, force and elasticity.
Symrise has also strengthened its competence in sensory ingredients with Thermolat, a warming substance that generates a pleasant tepid feeling in skin care applications like creams, gels and masks.
Thermolat starts providing its effects within the first five minutes after application and continues performing for up to two hours. Additionally, it can be used to signal that a cosmetics product is working.
Due to the harsh, rough climate, Arctic berries and plants are tightly packed with nutrients and offer an interesting source for powerful antioxidants.
Symrise’s Arctic range, which contains water-soluble Actipone products, is based on organic plants surviving in extreme conditions. These botanicals have proven antioxidant and skin-soothing properties and are suitable for use in various cosmetics applications.
