Beauty Revolution Festival rocks Sandton Convention Centre

On 6 and 7 April, the first ever beauty festival in Africa, Beauty Revolution Festival took place in Johannesburg at Sandton Convention Centre.

The two-day festival gave guests the chance to shop some of the world’s biggest brands in beauty, lifestyle and personal care and provided a playground for the country’s hottest influencers, media and content creators to flourish.

On Sunday, 7 April Johannesburg’s queen of rap Nadia Nakai featured on the main stage to perform hit songs to the few thousand guests in attendance.

Beauty with a purpose

Beauty Revolution Festival was also filled with meaningful discussions by powerhouse panellists ThickLeeYonce, Pearl Thusi and Leanne Dlamini while intimate makeup artist masterclasses featured Mihlali Ndamase, Marco Louis and Rushana Isaacs.

Deemed an annual event, Beauty Revolution Festival was an Instagram and shopping heaven, yet its focus truly lies in creating a strong platform for beauty with a purpose, daring to care for all shades and shapes in between.
