COPY: In collaboration with the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (Coschem), the Home and Personal Care Ingredients (HPCI) exhibition will be hosted in South Africa, on 4 and 5 September at Gallagher Exhibition Centre, Midrand.
HPCI events are already firmly established and well attended in India and central and eastern Europe. This will be the first time an HPCI event, devoted to ingredients for home and personal care product manufacturing, takes place on the African continent.
The continent is the booming new market for future product and international business development – now is the time for suppliers to present their products to manufacturers and brand owners. The exhibition is an ideal opportunity for local and international suppliers, manufacturer and agents to network whilst stimulating growth and trade.
South Africa is the gateway to Africa and participants from all over Africa as well as a global contingency are expected to visit the HPCI expo. Major national and international suppliers have already announced their participation in the event.
Coschem will host its annual scientific conference in conjunction with the prestigious HPCI exhibition. The conference theme is ‘Innovating the Possibility’ and will focus on the dissemination of scientific information, bringing world class scientists and professionals to the African continent. Local and international presenters have been invited to present posters and papers outlining new research and developments and new materials that can be brought to market.
The Coschem scientific conference together with the HPCI South Africa exhibition is a truly exclusive and unique opportunity to meet peers from many African countries and to gain new insights into industry innovations.
Workshop and technical seminars
Besides the scientific conference, a safety assessment workshop, organised with the support of the Cosmetic, Toiletries & Fragrance Association of South Africa, will focus on relevant issues associated with cosmetics product safety.
There will also be technical seminars where exhibitors can showcase their latest ingredients to personal care and home care product formulators and buyers. This wealth of information makes HPCI South Africa together with the Coschem scientific conference the only place to be at the beginning of September.
‘We are really looking forward to this first time event focused on home and personal care ingredients on the African continent and expect it to be the start of a new area in the respective industry,’ says Dr Sonja Schulte, editor in chief, Coatings and Cosmetics at Vincentz Network.
