Emerging markets growth at Symrise exceeds group’s overall growth

Symrise AG (Symrise) continued its robust growth in the third quarter of 2013 with sales that increased to €1 401.2 million in the first nine months of 2013. At local currency this translates into an increase of 10 per cent. In the Emerging Markets Symrise was able to increase sales by 11 per cent at local currency, thereby exceeding the group’s overall growth rate.

Lower net sales and a new CEO for Revlon

Revlon logoRevlon’s net sales in the third quarter of 2013 were US$339.4 million, a decrease of US$7.6 million, or 2.2 per cent, compared to US$347.0 million in the same period last year. Excluding unfavourable foreign currency fluctuations of US$11.4 million, net sales increased by US$3.8 million, or 1.1 per cent.
