First runner-up, Range: Clear – anti-dandruff care
Many anti-dandruff shampoo solutions simply treat the symptoms of dandruff by washing away the visible flakes on the surface without treating the root cause – a weak and damaged scalp – so the dandruff keeps returning.
Clear has designed a technology, Nutrium 10 for women and Pro Nutrium 10 for men that nourishes and repairs the scalp. Nutrium 10 and Pro Nutrium 10 contain Vitmins B6, C and E as well as minerals amino acids, scalp repair actives like zinc pyrithione and fibre care ingredients like panthenol. Combining the benefits of pro-vitamins, minerals and sunflower oils, the technology boosts scalp nourishment.
Second runner-up, Range: Dove Intensive Repair
Dove has developed a range of expert hair products and treatments for true internal and external repair. The Intensive Repair range includes a shampoo, a conditioner and a deep conditioning mask.
Because hair can be damaged on the inside as well as outside, making it weak, porous, and therefore more prone to breakage and splitting, Dove’s advanced damage care and repair technology has fibre actives that deeply penetrate porous hair to reconstruct it from within, and micro moisture serum to strengthen and nourish hair from the hair fibre near the root to the tip, leaving hair strengthened and resilient to future damage.
