Fragrance Oils has been creating evocative fragrances in Manchester, UK since 1967. From humble beginnings as a small family start-up, we’ve become a renowned, independent fragrance house with loyal customers in over 100 countries worldwide. We’ve evolved in many ways over the years, but now with support from Givaudan – the world’s largest fragrance house, it marks the start of an exciting new era for Fragrance Oils.
Our collaborative approach, entrepreneurial spirit and reputation for honesty, integrity and flexibility, continue to be at the core of our business, but now with this added support and a creative team in the UK, the future is bright. As we embark on this next chapter of Scentmaking, our rebrand and fresh, new identity not only reflects our ambitions, but also captures our strong heritage and human touch.

A collaborative approach
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, from our trend spotters in marketing to our creative perfumers. We have a diverse, inspirational team that’s bursting with ideas. We use our knowledge and expertise to develop evocative fragrances and deliver the highest levels of service. At Fragrance Oils, we want our customers to feel part of our team, knowing they have our full support from start to finish.
“Our people, their expertise and how they all work together to go the extra mile for our customers is what makes Fragrance Oils special. We’ve got big plans for the future but it’s our collaborative, small company culture that unites us, so we’ve simply evolved our brand proposition to underline what has always been the case – we’re better together,” says Andy Stedman, head of Fragrance Oils
A new identity
Our new identity brings vibrancy and contemporary flair – the perfect formula to distinguish our brand. Our iconic rose logo has been transformed with an abstract design that signifies our creativity, while the hand-sketched element reaffirms the human touch. Meanwhile, our new tag line, Scentmakers since 1967 highlights who we are and effortlessly embraces our heritage.
In the coming months, we’ll be embedding our new brand ethos across every area of our business – we hope you love it just as much as we do!
Scentmakers, previously Fragrance Oils, continues to be represented locally by Chemgrit Cosmetics.
