Master perfumer Marc vom Ende joins Bell Leipzig

Bell Flavors & Fragrances proudly announces the appointment of Marc vom Ende as master perfumer and fragrance consultant at its Leipzig/Miltitz site, effective August 2026.

This strategic move underscores Bell’s commitment to blending its rich heritage with cutting-edge, data-driven fragrance development.

A legacy of expertise in perfumery

With decades of international experience in perfumery, Marc vom Ende has honed his expertise across major fragrance hubs, including Berlin, Hamburg, Holzminden, New York and Paris. His extensive portfolio spans fine fragrances, cosmetics, hair care, body care and home care products. Additionally, his dedication to training the next generation of perfumers has solidified his reputation as a leader in the industry.

In his new role, Marc vom Ende will focus on integrating artisanal perfumery techniques with systematic raw-material analysis. This includes evaluating functional properties such as odour masking and fragrance blooming, as well as critically assessing the role of AI as a complementary tool in fragrance creation.

Bell’s Leipzig site, formerly known as Schimmel & Co., boasts a legacy in perfume research and essential oil chemistry dating back to the 19^th century. The appointment of Marc vom Ende reinforces Bell’s position as a leader in creative and development capabilities, combining tradition with innovation.
