Nouryon celebrates 2025 EcoVadis Gold rating

Nouryon recognised for sustainability excellence.

EcoVadis has recognised Nouryon, a global leader in speciality chemicals, with a 2025 Gold rating for its sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives and achievements. This is the fourth consecutive year that the company receives an EcoVadis Gold rating or higher. The achievement places Nouryon in the top 3% of companies assessed by the sustainability ratings provider and among the top 2% of companies in the chemical industry.

Driving meaningful environmental progress

EcoVadis is one of the world’s largest providers of business sustainability ratings, intelligence and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains. Each year, EcoVadis evaluates more than 150 000 companies across more than 185 countries and more than 250 industries. The ratings provider uses various criteria within these four themes:

1. Environment
2. Ethics
3. Labour & Human Rights
4. Sustainable Procurement.

New aspirations and 2030 targets

By 2030, Nouryon aims to reduce its absolute Scopes 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 40% compared to 2019 and aspires to be a net-zero organisation by 2050.
