Seppic presents Ode to Mother Nature formulation

Seppic shares a sneak peek into ‘The beauty box office movie hit’, its new collection of illustrative formulations to be launched at in-cosmetics Global 2025. 

For this year’s in-cosmetics Global campaign, Seppic has drawn inspiration from the movies and the emotions evoked by the cinema. Seppic will be presenting a collection of six new cosmetic formulas, with textures and concepts that are reminiscent of blockbuster films. These innovations transform into inspiring formulations for skincare, hair care and nutricosmetics. 

For a sneak peek of the collection, which will be unveiled during the trade show, Seppic presents the formula Ode to Mother Nature. Inspired by the movie Avatar, this light green thick skin cream is nourishing and has a medium to long playtime. After application, skin remains soft, comfortable and non-greasy. 

Inspired by biomimicry

With a naturalness profile of 99.1% (according to ISO 16128), Seppic’s team developed this inspiring formula based on biomimicry. Used as an emulsifier, the organisation of Montanov™ 202 (Arachidyl behenyl alcohol, Arachidyl glucoside) amphiphilic molecules into lamellar layers, known as liquid crystals, improves the stability and compatibility of the formulation with the skin. Because the lipids have a similar structure to skin, Montanov™ 202-based emulsions offer biomimetic textures.
