South Africans to benefit from new generic weight-loss product

Pharma Dynamics introduces Minex (phentermine hydrochloride), a new generic slimming medication that is available for less than the originator product.

With South Africa already being labelled as one of the most obese nations in Africa and among the most obese in the world, there is a growing need for safe and effective slimming treatments to aid patients along their weight-loss journey.

Minex is specifically for those who are overweight or obese with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30kg/m² or higher and those who have struggled to lose weight naturally following a consistent diet and exercise programme. The dosage and duration of the treatment are based on individual assessments by a registered healthcare professional and may vary from one patient to another. 

“In most cases, patients are advised to take one 30mg capsule daily, preferably in the morning for up to 12 weeks. To get the most benefit, Minex should be taken as prescribed, preferably at the same time every day,” comments Schickerling. 

A popular treatment choice

Obesity increases the risk of many debilitating and deadly diseases, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers. Losing weight will not only translate into a trimmer figure, but will lead to improved blood glucose levels and healthier blood pressure.
