BiomeRenew is a postbiotic skin care first for Africa, offering South Africans scientifically proven, clinical grade products at affordable prices.

Developed by a team of South African and international (US and Indian) dermatologists, surgeons and therapists, BiomeRenew consists of a range of therapeutic cosmetics that compliment dermatological treatment. The products are suitable for various skin conditions including acne, eczema, dry skin, ageing impact as well as those resulting from extensive medication usage.

The formulations incorporate the postbiotic Lactosporin, which is metabolised from prebiotics and assists in soothing, repairing and protecting the skin. Postbiotics help promote the dominance of skin’s healthy bacteria over bad bacteria that causes inflammation and flare up conditions. These conditions could include eczema, acne and psoriasis. Niacinamine has been added to the formulations to help reduce pigmentation, while Hyaluronic Acid draws moisture into the skin.

BiomeRenew showcases natural ingredients and is dermatologically tested for irritation, safe to use on all ages, is non-binary and is not tested on animals. All products are paraben and lanolin free. The range includes a daily moisturiser, enriched cream, glycerin bar, ointment, and signature scar cream, all formulated with postbiotics.

• BiomeRenew Postbiotic Daily Moisturiser is a blend of moisturisers, humectants and active ingredients that hydrate the skin and lock in moisture. It is water based, absorbs quickly and hydrates without oiliness, perfect for daytime usage. Key ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin B3 and B5.

• BiomeRenew™ Postbiotic Enriched Cream is formulated with a blend of ingredients that help soothe and repair dry, itchy and irritated skin. Key ingredients include the patented moisturiser complex DuraQuench IQ to lock in moisture, as well as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins B3 and B5 and Vitamin E.

• BiomeRenew Postbiotic Ointment is specially formulated to repair very dry or cracked skin. It is used in severe skin conditions where a barrier product is needed i.e Eczema and Psoriasis. Key ingredients include Jojoba Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil which are key for lipid (oil) replenishment.

• Biomerenew Postbiotic Scar Cream improves the appearance of post-surgical, burn and post acne scars. Scars appear thinner, flatter and less pigmented. Key ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamins B3, B5 and E.

• BiomeRenew Postbiotic Glycerin Bar is a low Ph, gentle cleanser that helps to retain skin’s moisture while easing symptoms of inflammation and itchiness in skin. Key Ingredients include Aloe barbadensis extract, which helps skin retain its elasticity and plant-based glycerin.
