New managing director appointed of IMCD Egypt

IMCD Group, a global leading distributor of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has announced the appointment of Ahmed Nousser, as managing director of IMCD Egypt, effective 1 August 2022.

In his new role, Ahmed will focus on leading the company’s strategic growth ambitions through the expansion of new and existing principals. As managing director, he will drive commercial excellence, exploring M&A opportunities, developing talents and advancing the digitalisation of the business.

“IMCD Egypt has seen rapid growth through its purely organic journey from a true green field start. Over the last two years, we were able to broaden our business from the initial Pharma focus into Coatings & Construction, Home Care I&I, Beauty & Personal Care as well as Food & Nutrition and Advanced Materials. All these business units excel despite the challenging supply chain realities, thanks to our local expertise and we are therefore investing further,” said Manuel Baumann, IMCD Middle East managing director and global director, construction.
