pH balanced

In short, pH level means “power of hydrogen”. A pH level indicates how acidic something is. Hair is slightly acidic and if a substance is too alkaline it will cause the hair cuticles to open. Unbalanced pH levels can cause hair to dry out, an itchy scalp, dandruff, hair breakage, thinning of hair and hair loss.

SereinFormulas shampoo bars avoid certain ingredients such as sodium hydroxide and sodium lauryl sulphate. Many hair products are too alkaline and can irritate the hair and scalp and unbalance the natural pH. Maintaining this balance for hair also provides protection against bacteria and fungus.

Scalp relief shampoo bar addresses dandruff and scalp problems with its blend of olive oil and jojoba esters which works to reduce scalp irritation and dandruff whilst nourishing and providing smoothness to hair.

Intensive hydration shampoo bar is formulated for normal/dry frizzy hair with a blend of argan oil, shea butter and vitamin E which works to soften and hydrate hair, reduce frizz and boost shine.

Extra volume shampoo bar adds volume with its blend of coconut oil, panthenol and hydrolised wheat protein which works to retain hair moisture, add volume and improve hair’s smoothness.
