The Healthy Bite to explore oral care innovation

Leading ingredient experts from the global oral care industry will participate in the online event on 21 and 22 June.

For the fourth time, Omya Consumer Goods will host The Healthy Bite. This year it will take place as an online event. Featuring several world-renowned companies and expert presenters, it will be a focused exchange on the newest findings in functional and active ingredients, trends and scientific findings for oral care formulations. The forum will allow for sharing insights, discoveries and new solutions, while highlighting cost-effective, cutting-edge innovations. Registration is free of charge at healthybite.omya.com.

Forum highlights and topics

During the virtual sessions, nine lectures will take place spread over two half-days, with additional information available online. The exact timings, speakers, the full agenda and registration can be accessed online.

Highlights of the first afternoon on 21 June will include an overview of current Oral Care Trends & Innovations (Andrew McDougall, Mintel), the latest scientific findings of The Oral Microbiome as a Driver of Health & Disease (Dr Lyndsay Shaeffer and Dr. Carlo Daep, Colgate Palmolive), innovative waterless oral care formulations combining efficiency with sensoriality (Elise Charlier, Léa Nature) and an evaluation of fluoride stability in Calcium-based toothpaste (Anaïs Hecker, Omya).

On the morning of 22 June, participants will learn about Revisiting the Mint Flavor in Oral Care (Sylvain Massé, Firmenich) and get updated on The Role of Nutrition in Dental Erosion (Dr. Adrian Lussi, Professor at Universities of Bern and Freiburg, DE). A topic on the role of Patents as Trends Indicators (Dr. Jochen Spuck, EconSight), and what new ways there are of integrating Charcoal into toothpaste (Dr. Florentine Hilty-Vancura, Omya) will round up the agenda.
